We are very pleased to have worked with Judy Gelman and Vicki Levy Krupp who put together a wonderful cook book based upon recipes from various book clubs (also called reading groups). The Houston Book Club is highlighted in the section dealing with "Stones from the River" by Ursula Hegi. The unique way in which recipes all tie to specific book selections makes this book easy to read. It's interesting to see how people were inspired by specific books to try out new or share old recipes. Our book club had never thought of specific books giving rise to recipes, but we have selected dishes based upon the topic / category we were reading. I highly recommend this book !
